How to use a cordless drill!
The proper way!
Before you start to use your cordless drill,you should figure out how to use it. In this example I will look into how to drive a screw with your best cordless drill. It isn`t as hard as many people seem to think it is.
First you need to figure out what drill to use. There isn`t a set rule here,but you should make sure that your drill has the desired amount of power to drive the screw of your desired size. A 12v cordless drill is suitable for any "normal" task.
When you`ve found out what drill to use it is time to start preparing. Adjust the clutch setting of your cordless drill to "1". Start driving the screw until the torque of the clutch setting is reached. (probably when the screw is 1/3rd in. Adjust the torque to "2". Keep doing that until the screw is fully in. Now you have the correct torque for your screw.
If you have a lot of screw in the same size,going in to the same wall you can just keep the last clutch setting from the first screw. This is it for this small guide. Now you know how to drive a screw with your cordless drill.
